Stunning, recently fully rehabbed wood-burning fireplace in the living room is marveled at by visitors. Sunroom up front is a wonderful place to enjoy your morning, or any part of the day, year-round. It also makes a light-filled home office... .
In-unit washer and dryer. Modern kitchen with granite counter tops and plenty of storage space in hardwood cabinets. Back patio opens to views of LSD and the park. With no row of housing behind, the patio gets a perfect combination of morning and afternoon sunshine while still being protected from intense mid-day sun. A fantastic bonus for those who like to BBQ among their colorful annuals.
It is definitely cooler near the lake. Heat is included. The few window units are NOT needed daily during the summer. Three large washers and dryers are also available in the basement. Each unit has tons of closet space. Additional storage space (approximately 4 x 10) in basement. Beautiful front yard.
Bittersweet Place is a quiet street most people don’t even know exists. A literal stone’s throw away from the boundary of Lakeview, walking to the lakefront with another human, or dog takes mere minutes. Multiple grocery stores are within walking distance. Transportation up and down the lakefront, by car or public transport, is a breeze. All the restaurants and stores of Lakeview are minutes away. Clark Street and Andersonville are not much further.
The unit is spacious and welcoming. The neighborhood is great. Couldn’t ask for better upstairs neighbors. Parking is available across the street for 200 dollars per month. The street is zoned 24/7. As long as you don’t drive off at 6 p.m. thinking you will come back to the spot you left, you don’t really need it. Broadway, overnight, is an easy back-up option. If you’re a fan of great sports bars, Michael’s is within walking distance.
