ATTENTION MY FELLOW BLUE DEMONS: Are you tired of living with roommates who turn your living space into a disaster zone? Do you crave some peace and quiet, but all you get are shenanigans sessions at 3 a.m.? Well,... fear not, because we have a place of your dreams! We are seeking a two roommates with a Ph.D. in cleanliness, a black belt in an organization, and a sense of humor to laugh at my silly jokes for our 3 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment located in a vibrant neighborhood of Wicker Park close to Division Blue Line, an ideal location for a DePaul student. Loop Campus (Downtown) is only 9 minutes away by CTA Blue line & Lincoln Park Campus is 18 minutes away (Blue line then transfer to Red line). There is a Jewel Osco right in front of the house so you don’t have to walk too much for groceries. Besides that, there are bars, restaurants, and taverns near the apartment. The room is big enough to put a full-size bed, and a tv stand, and still, you will get some more space left. The house is a no-smoking zone. Also, No Pets are allowed. Occasional guests are allowed. Our place looks exactly like the pictures. Clean and tidy all the time.
The total rent is $2011.95 (divided by 3 = $670.95 per head) excluding utilities, and the security deposit is $670.95. "The lease is 1 year". The utilities are usually between $80 to $110 per head.
The lease starts on Oct 1, 2026 and the room will be available some time in August or September.
Laundry is available onsite. Private parking is not available, but you can park on the street.
A little bit about the neighborhood: Not far outside of the corporate skyscrapers and tourist attractions of the Near North Side and The Loop, the Wicker Park neighborhood serves up an exciting and distinctly Chicagoan atmosphere. A thriving artistic community operates here, and both locals and national touring acts regularly perform on the neighborhood’s many stages—many of the city’s most famous modern musicians got their start in Wicker Park’s nightclubs and theaters. Wicker Park is also home to many of Chicago’s most in-demand restaurants, drawing eager gastronomes from all across the city. Most of these attractions are clustered together around Milwaukee Avenue, with the rest of the neighborhood largely taken up by historic homes and apartment buildings along tree-lined streets.
